This time of year, my soul senses daily release. Release from spasms to a velvet calm. Calm as a spring afternoon, my trunk radiates warmth. Warmth as energy releases into the night. Night shades my soul with its blooms. Blooms open to a bouquet of bells. Bells that ring until morning. Morning rises toward my soul, this time of year.

Tonight’s post is inspired by the writing prompt from National Blog Posting Month (NaBloPoMo): “Describe yourself using five different words, one for each of the senses (taste, touch, sight, smell, and hearing).” I created the image on my iPad using OmniSketch.
