The Deadbolt. It’s the classic tale of ‘she said, she said’ and the resulting community’s bloodbath.

After a spate of miscommunication and rumor, the few remaining dwellers are left stunned and reeling. Yet, there is still something out there trying to take them down. Blind quills pepper the ramparts nightly.

“It’s been a nightmare of epic proportions!” exclaims the gatekeeper.

“It’s like she’s sighted on our sealed fate,” comments the local scribe.

Local headline reads, “Moaning Roan Haunts Edge of Town.”
