Step by step, my mind’s eye watches her advance.
(Graceful and lithe, dreams have the right.)
Seas flow cool with occupants circumspect and hungry.
Keenly aware of circling company, she takes a deep breath then another step.
Expecting the obvious, she claims her last words…
“Bite me!”

June 4, 2011. Todays post was inspired by a recent project consuming my days. I am terrified and in unchartered waters. The risk to my earned confidence is unfathomable.
