Beyond Belief

Show me. You could tell me, but I need proof. Seriously. Put it right in front of my face. I believe you. But I want to see it. Now. Not tomorrow. Here and now. Proof. Thanks.

Let’s go, #NaBloPoMo.

P.S. The brief post above was typed in 60 seconds using oneword, a website designed to provide the user with a timed writing prompt. While on that site, simply click “go” and one word appears with a text box. My word was “proof”. What was yours?

P.S.S. You may recognize the photo of Spider Woman and Lakshmi. I found them hanging out and captured the moment for a past blog post. See at

Tuesday, November 4, 2014. If you haven’t already cast your vote in this year’s general election, I encourage you to go today. Today is Election Day. Use the nifty tool above to find your polling location. This nifty tool is provided courtesy of the fine folks at WordPress.

For my part of this post, I simply created the meme, “Go Cast Your Vote” using Art Rage 4 software to go with the haiku I wrote.

Monday, November 3, 2014. Inspired by the cosmos and my childhood gift for prophetic dreams, I wrote the haiku, “Prophetic Stars.” While I am not religious or new age spiritual, I often do consider humanity’s tenuous grasp of the material world. As for the image, “Prophetic Stars,” I created it using Art Rage 4 software.
